Yutang town

Yutang town is close to the main urban area of Dujiangyan City, known as the "hometown of God of wealth" and "jinyumantang". It is adjacent to kuiguangta street in the East, Aba Prefecture in the west, Longchi town in the north and Zhongxing town in the south. 60 km away from Chengdu, national highway 213, provincial highway 106, Du Wen expressway, the first ring road and the second ring road of the city form a traffic network extending in all directions. It is an important traffic hub connecting the Jiuhuang line and Qingchengshan Dujiangyan. Jinma River, Heishi River, Shagou River and Crab River meander in fan shape, with rich tourism resources such as zhaogongshan, xiongmaogu and yutangyao. Covering an area of 56.29 square kilometers, the town has 11 agriculture related communities, 3 urban communities, 109 Village (resident) groups, and a total population of 22520 (2017).

In December 2019, Chengdu Municipal People's government decided to abolish Yutang town.

In July 2020, it won the honorary title of national health Township from 2017 to 2019.

1、 Natural conditions

The topography of Yutang town is diverse, with a ladder shape from east to west, with plain, hilly and mountainous areas accounting for 1 / 3 respectively. The lowest altitude is 700m, and the highest altitude (zhaogongshan) is 2434m. The town belongs to subtropical humid climate area, with an annual average temperature of 15.2 ℃.

As the main battlefield of Dujiangyan City Construction and the main engine of tourism industry upgrading, Yutang town will resolutely implement the strategic plan of Dujiangyan municipal Party committee and government to "take the lead in building a beautiful and livable Park City and an international eco-tourism city", and actively integrate into libing cultural and Creative Tourism Industrial Park and into the city's tourism development pattern.
