The giant salamander museum is located in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province. Since its opening in August 2010, the Chinese giant salamander bioscience Museum has been awarded "Hunan Science Popularization base" by Hunan Science and technology department. It is located in Baofeng Road, Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie. The museum adopts advanced interactive multimedia display techniques of sound, light and electricity, and takes the geological evolution of Zhangjiajie landform, which is rare in the world, as the background. It integrates science popularization, tourism and art, unveils the mystery of giant salamander, understands the overall value of giant salamander, and enables every guest to accept science popularization tourism knowledge in a pleasant tour. There are more than 10 exhibition areas in giant salamander home Museum, including biological Vientiane, earth ice crystal, ancient seal, plant corridor, giant salamander home, exploring giant salamander, ancient gifts, 4D dynamic cinema, etc. Among them, the giant salamander home with multimedia interactive technology, a brand-new interpretation of an intoxicating and shocking Zhangjiajie four seasons love song. China Giant Salamander bioscience Museum, Dalian Ocean University and Far East Branch of Russian Academy of sciences have carried out cooperation between institutions and enterprises to establish giant salamander breeding base, scientific research base and production base of scientific research products (health care, beauty, skin care, cosmetics, etc.) of giant salamander.
