Censhan township is subordinate to Ningwu County, located in the hinterland of Guancenshan and the upper reaches of Fenhe River. It intersects Yuzhuang Township in the East, Dongzhai town in the south, Wuzhai County in the West and Shenchi County in the north. Ningwu county is located in the west, 40 kilometers away from the county seat, township government resident douniwan village.

The total area of censhan township is 184 square kilometers, with 21071.4 mu of arable land, 211725.6 mu of forest land and 32198.0 mu of grassland. By the end of 2018, there were 2123 households and 4907 people in censhan township.

Censhan township has 26 administrative villages: songjiaya, QIUQIANGOU, Chashang, nuanshuihe, zifengya, shipiangou, baergou, Xiejiagou, donglougou, Wuhuashan, wanghuagou, douniwan, zhangjiaya, xiaoshidong, xiaoshimen, dashidong, Dingjiawan, madigou, chunjingwa, niutoucha, zhengzhanggou, Wangjiashan, sieergou, Bawangling, zhoujiagou and Dagou.

Censhan township is characterized by steep mountains, crisscross valleys, mostly folded mountains, with the highest altitude of 2547 meters. It belongs to the temperate continental monsoon climate with dry summer and cold and dry winter. The annual average temperature is only 6 ℃, the rainfall is small, the annual rainfall is only about 600 mm, the sunshine is insufficient, and the frost free period is about 90 days.

Basic introduction

Ningwu County governs the township. Censhan commune was established in 1958 and the township was established in 1984. Located in the west of the county, 35 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 30 square kilometers and has a population of 3000. The road is open. It has jurisdiction over 18 village committees, including douniwan, baergou, wanghuagou, Zhangjiagou, nuanshuigou, shipiangou, Xiejiagou, donglougou, zifengya, baozigou, chengjiagedong, qiuqiugou, Songjiagou, dashidong, xiaoshimen, Wuhuashan, xiaoshidong and Chashang. There is a police station and a power management station. The township government is located in the guest house of the former 187 factory. In 2010, the ecological resettlement project in the upper reaches of Fenhe River was fully implemented, involving 16 villages, 720 households and 2021 people, including 192 scattered households and 452 people. At present, 124 households and 309 people have been relocated.

Economic overview

In 2010, the total rural economic income of the township was 9.65 million yuan, the per capita income was 1858 yuan, the grain planting area was 9240 mu, the output was 408 tons, the oil planting area was 5400 mu, the output was 178 tons. There are 1300 large livestock, 18050 sheep and 546 pigs at the end of the year.

The tourist attractions include Wannian ice cave, hanging coffin hanging temple, cliff plank road, Zhiguo strange stone, etc. wanghuagou (hanging Village) was rated as a provincial historical and cultural village in 2009, and Xinzhou was rated as the only national historical and cultural village in 2010 Cultural village. Many scenic spots, such as Bajiao cave, Beitian temple, funwa and Longwang temple, need to be developed. More and more farmers are engaged in tourism services, and their income is not poor, which has become an important channel to increase farmers' income. There are more than 160 kinds of mountain birds and animals in censhan Township, such as wild boar, roe deer, wolf, leopard and so on. Brown eared pheasant, a national first-class protected animal, inhabits here. There are more than 240 kinds of wild plants such as rare Chinese medicinal materials and edible fungi, which enjoy high reputation and high price, such as Astragalus membranaceus, Codonopsis pilosula, Polyporus umbellatus, Shengma, Yinpan mushroom, Pteridium aquilinum, etc. ice cave tourism line, Xinwu line crisscross, roads in all directions, very convenient. Chenshan Township chunjingwa and Bawangling have large coal reserves, shallow coverage, high heat and good coal quality. Siergou has grade II aluminum mine and grade I iron mine. At present, the former chunjingwa wohuwan Coal Industry Co., Ltd. is integrated into Shanxi Luning damuchang Coal Industry Co., Ltd., and the former fujide Coal Industry Co., Ltd. (Bawangling coal mine) is integrated into Liyuanhe coal mine (closed) of Xuangang coal power company of Tongmei group.
