There are 12 administrative villages and 34 natural villages in Baimashi Township, with a total area of 7872 hectares, including 5864 hectares of wasteland, 300 hectares of fruit land, 216 hectares of River land, and the rest of which are for village construction. The township is a mountainous Township in the west of Liaoning Province, through which Jinchao highway passes. It has convenient transportation, rich fruit and forest resources, and a large number of barren mountain resources to be developed. It is a paradise for the developers of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fruit industry.

Historical evolution

The commune was established in 1961 and the township was changed in 1983. In 1996, it covers an area of 79 square kilometers and has a population of 8000. It governs 12 administrative villages, including Baimashi, tangjiatun, xiyangjiatun, Shimenzi, miaozigou, xiaogudaozi, Yangjia, niujiadian, shangsanjiaochengzi, xiasanjiaochengzi, mengwangta and zhuanwanzi. In 2002, it had a population of 6800 and an area of 79 square kilometers.
