Jiaokou township is located in the southwest of Yonghe County, on the edge of the Yellow River, with sufficient sunshine time and high annual average temperature, which is very suitable for the growth of jujube trees, Chinese herbal medicine, grass and small and medium-sized cereals. Historical evolution
Before 1983, it was baihuyao commune and Jiaokou commune. After 1983, it was baihuyao Township and Jiaokou township. In 2001, it was merged into Jiaokou Township until 2017.
