Wen'anyi town is subordinate to Yanchuan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the west of Yanchuan County. It is adjacent to Yanchuan town in the East, Majiahe Township and yangjiagetai town in the south, Yuju town in the West and Guanzhuang town in the north. The total area is 325.72 square kilometers.

Historical evolution
