Xindian town

Xindian town is located in the heart of famous mountains, adjacent to more than ten towns. It is 120 km away from Chengdu in the East and 30 km away from Ya'an in the West. National Highway 108 (Chengya Expressway) and 318 (former Sichuan Tibet highway) run through the whole territory in parallel. The whole town covers an area of 46.95 square kilometers, belongs to shallow hilly areas, with annual rainfall of 1300 mm, annual average temperature of 15 ℃, frost free period of 298 days, humid temperature, no severe cold in winter and no severe heat in summer.

On December 11, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Ya'an City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns (cfzm [2019] No. 14): the administrative area of Wenchang village in Jiefang township was put under the jurisdiction of Xindian Town, and the people's Government of Xindian town was stationed at No. 76, the lower section of Xinmin Road.

Administratively, Xindian town governs 16 villages (Changchun, Yangping, Baima, Xinba, Xing'an, anqiao, Daping, Xinxing, Gucheng, Shanhe, Datong, Zhongba, Nanlin, Hongguang, Sanxing, Shiqiao), 107 cooperatives and 1 residents' committee, with a total population of 20285 (2017). In 2001, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Xindian town was 42.93 million yuan, the local fiscal revenue was 862500 yuan, and the per capita net income was 2050 yuan.

tourist resources

There are Qingyi lake and Baizhang lake with beautiful scenery in the territory. There are tea and horse market sites, which are specialized agencies for the ancient management of tea and horse trade between the Han and Tibetan people. There are abundant bentonite resources. According to preliminary exploration, the reserves are about 5 billion tons. There are also tourist attractions such as Qingyi lake and Baizhang lake.

Economics

In terms of agricultural economy, Xindian town vigorously adjusts the structure of agricultural production, promotes agricultural industrialization, gradually constructs modern agriculture, and develops three pillar industries of tea (mulberry, forest, bamboo), commercial vegetables, livestock and poultry. In 2001, 518 mu of tea was planted, with a total area of 2516 mu, including 138 mu of mulberry, 150 mu of Hybrid Bamboo and 100 mu of high-quality fruit. The afforestation area is 2184 mu. 4000 mu of commercial vegetables were planted. There are 600000 chickens, ducks and geese, 45000 rabbits and 5000 sheep. We will continue to stabilize grain production, with a total grain output of 9306 tons and oil production of 794 tons. The total output value of agriculture is 51.82 million yuan. In terms of enterprise development, we should provide preferential policies, high-quality services, create a good investment environment, and vigorously carry out investment promotion. By the end of 2001, the total number of enterprises reached 641, with an output value of 161.18 million yuan and a storage tax of 1.2 million yuan. Yifan Industrial Co., Ltd., Xifu Food Co., Ltd. and other key enterprises were owned. Four industrial development parks will be planned and constructed, and Xindian will be built into an industrial corridor on line 318 and a rich industrial town. In terms of the tertiary industry, relying on the advantages of tourism resources of Qingyi lake and Baizhang lake and the transportation location resources of the town, the tourism industry and catering industry are vigorously developed. The mutton and sauerkraut fish with the characteristics of Xindian are well-known. Now the new store has become the first choice of famous restaurants in the city.

Mingshan District Mengding Camellia processing Demonstration Park (Xindian town) project, including production-oriented standard plant, complex building, logistics and warehouse, Park Road, drainage engineering, lighting engineering, landscape greening engineering, fire safety system and other projects. The total building area of the planned new plant is about 72200 m2, including 6200 m2 for non productive buildings and 66000 m2 for productive buildings.

The Party committee and government of Xindian town have made great efforts to improve the infrastructure. A 1.7 km long and 18 m wide cement street has been built and street lamps have been installed in the town, making Xindian a bright pearl and a beautiful scenery of line 318. We should build a water supply plant to provide sufficient water, and strengthen the transformation of rural power grid to provide abundant electricity. Program controlled telephone, mobile communication and microwave closed circuit television will be opened. Primary and secondary schools are moving forward in the direction of building famous schools. With the rapid development of town construction, the construction of new farmers' villages has begun to take shape, and the network of mechanized farming roads in villages and communities is sound, extending in all directions.
