Quanzhang town

Quanzhang town is located 15 kilometers northwest of Xinjiang county, with Sanquan town in the East, Beizhang town in the north, Jishan County in the West and Gujiao town in the south. It covers an area of 29.22 square kilometers. In 2007, it produced 5068 tons of wheat and 5803 tons of autumn grain. It has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages with a total population of 14329 (2017). The town government is stationed in Quanzhang village. Quanzhang town was called Taoyuan town in the Zhou Dynasty. It was a marquis state in the Western Han Dynasty. The Gaozu of the Han Dynasty granted Du Tian the Marquis of changxiuping, and then set up Changxiu County, which belongs to Hedong county. It was abolished in the Eastern Han Dynasty. It was called Changqiu town in the Northern Zhou Dynasty. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were five springs in the southeast of the village, and one spring in the middle of the village, which looked like a palm, so it was named Quanzhang. Linggong terrace of Jin state was built here, and the site still exists. Quanzhang town has a history of more than 2500 years. Quanzhang township was set up in March 1956. In 1962, Xinjiang county and Houma City were set up separately. The organizational system of Xinjiang county was restored and it was called Quanzhang people's commune management committee. In September 1984, it was renamed Quanzhang town.

Quanzhang town has a long history. There is the Baitai Temple rebuilt in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty. Jingfusheng is the successor of gujiang's "Jingji" print. Wang Shou's palace lantern is simple and elegant with exquisite carving. Other cultural relics include the linggongtai site in Quanzhang and the spring and autumn and Warring States tombs in Chaoyang village.
