Dayou township is located in the north of Guang'an District, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, at the junction of Guang'an, Dazhou and Nanchong, 49 kilometers away from Guang'an City. It is adjacent to Xinshi Township, Quxian County, Dazhou city in the north, Xiaohe Township, Guang'an District in the East, Huaqiao Town, Guang'an District in the south, Pulian Township, Guang'an District in the west, and Fude Town, Pengan County, Nanchong City in the northwest. Dayou township will be merged into Huaqiao town in 2019, and the people's Government of Huaqiao town will be stationed at No. 35, Huaguang road.

General situation

Dayou township is a typical hilly area. Guanqing river originates from the mountainous area in the northwest and flows to the southeast. The shale reserves of the whole township are rich and of good quality, which need to be developed and utilized urgently. There is a quarry, products are sold to Xiaohe, Huaqiao, Quxian and other places, in short supply. It has standardized and implemented 200 mu of Hainan fragrant rice base in Shengmiao village, 200 mu of loquat, Huanghua pear, navel orange and other fruit bases in Yixin village, Sanxing village, 1039 mu of high-quality sericulture bases in Dadi village and Shatang village, 1000 mu of peanut, Sichuan hybrid rape and August yellow soybean bases in Sanxing village and spark village, and 30 multiple hybrid pigs in Zisheng village. facing the new situation and new opportunities, the township government has introduced Chinese medicine such as Chinese wolfberry, and plans to establish a medicinal base of 1400 mu, planting 1000 mu of high-quality forage ryegrass. 100 yellow sheep were raised in Shatang and Yixin villages.
