Longquan Town
The former Township of Jialing District of Nanchong City, located in the northwest edge of Jialing District of Nanchong City, covers an area of 24.48 square kilometers. It governs 12 administrative villages, including Longxiang community, Longquan Village, liangjiagou, Guanyintang, wutongtang, jiudongbei, anleyuan, xinmiaozi, dianzigou, daluogou, gongziling, beiyagou, dayankan, etc., 1 neighborhood committee and 123 communities.
On October 29, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Nanchong to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns (streets) in 7 counties (cities, districts) including Gaoping District (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 7): Longquan town was abolished and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of qibaosi town. The people's Government of qibaosi town was stationed at No. 1, Thanksgiving street.
Basic information
Longquan town is located in the northwest edge of Nanchong Jialing District, covering an area of 24.48 square kilometers. It governs 12 administrative villages and 123 communities, including Longquan Village, liangjiagou, Guanyintang, wutongtang, jiudongbei, anleyuan, xinmiaozi, dianzigou, dadaogou, gongziling, beiyagou and dayankan. Longquan Township is located in the hilly area, river longitudinal horizontal, brown purple and oil sand mud soil. The township has 13000 mu of arable land, mainly producing rice, wheat, corn and sweet potato. The main economic crops are peanut, rape, sea pepper and kenaf. total population 6933 (2017). The cultivated land area of the town is 10038.55 mu, including 3810.5 mu of farmland and 6228.05 mu of soil. The family planning rate was 94.7% in 2003, 96.2% in 2004 and 95.4% in 2005.

The total agricultural output value was 14.1 million yuan in 2003, 10.29 million yuan in 2004 and 14.5 million yuan in 2005. The per capita income of farmers was 1533 yuan in 2003, 1883 yuan in 2004 and 2082 yuan in 2005. There were 140 township enterprises in 2003, 155 in 2004 and 158 in 2005. The operating revenue was 43 million yuan in 2003, 48 million yuan in 2004 and 51 million yuan in 2005. The realized profits were 4 million yuan in 2003, 4.5 million yuan in 2004 and 5.1 million yuan in 2005, including 5 million yuan for industrial enterprises in 2003, 8 million yuan in 2004 and 12.7 million yuan in 2005; the realized profits were 800000 yuan in 2003, 1.2 million yuan in 2004 and 1.6 million yuan in 2005.
