Wanmao town

Wanmao Town, subordinate to Zhuoni County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Zhuoni County, adjacent to qiagai Township and shenzang Township in the East, azitan Township in the south, and Hezuo city in the West and North. The area is 274.73 square kilometers. In 2018, 4192 people registered residence.

Before and after 1949, wankeluo and Russianization belonged to Beishan district; Shamao and kangmuche belonged to Luzhu district. In 1962, after the establishment of Zhuoni county was restored, two townships, wanmao and Shamao, were set up. At the end of 1965, Shamao Township returned to Shamao township. In 2017, the township was replaced by township. In June 2020, wanmao town governs five administrative villages.

In 2011, wanmao town had 13000 mu of arable land, 3.3 mu per capita; 499 tons of grain and 1500 tons of meat were produced; the total output value of animal husbandry was 3 million yuan, accounting for 98% of the total agricultural output value, and the per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen was 2730 yuan.
