Huanglian town

Huanglian town is subordinate to qintang District of Guigang City. It is the west gate of Guigang City from Nanning. It is adjacent to qintang town in the East, Zhennan Township in the north, Litang town of Binyang County in the west, and Hengxian County in the southwest. The double track of Litang Zhanjiang railway and Nanwu highway of 324 National Highway all pass through the city. With outstanding traffic location advantages, it is the only way for Guigang people to get out of Nanning. It now governs 15 village committees and a community, with a total area of 139.76 square kilometers, divided into 49 natural villages, 235 villager groups, and 50697 people (in 2017).

Economics

It is rich in silkworm, tea, Magnolia and ore. It is a famous hometown of silkworms and tea. At present, the mulberry garden covers an area of more than 3000 mu, with an annual output of more than 800 tons of fresh silkworms, more than 4000 mu of tea garden, more than 12000 mu of Sufeng eucalyptus, 120 mu of Magnolia, and more than 60000 plants. With the increase of the adjustment of agricultural structure, Huanglian town continued to make full use of the rich mountain forest and mineral resources in 2003, and actively developed industries and township enterprises. At present, there are 1 special cement plant with an annual output of 200000 tons, 4 stone yards, 4 large brick yards, 5 medium plate plants and 3 wood processing plants. The total industrial output value is 19.54 million yuan and the tax paid is 840000 yuan.

infrastructure

Huanglian town is the "bridgehead" for the construction of "Yugui corridor". The pace of urbanization is accelerating, and social undertakings, science and technology and education are making continuous progress. At present, there is an ecological demonstration village, a well-off village, a free entertainment place open to the masses, a culture and broadcasting technology building which began to serve the people on November 4, 2009, a nursing home for the elderly has occupied 16 elderly people, and the township electronic information center is also under construction. There are 3 middle schools and 16 primary schools in the town, with 390 teaching staff and more than 8000 students.
