Xinxing town

Xinxing Town, belonging to Yi'an County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Yi'an County, bordering Xinfa Township in the East, central town in the south, Fulu town in Fuyu County in the West and Xintun Township in the north, with a total administrative area of 477.06 square kilometers.

In 1942, Xinxing village was established; in 2011, Xinxing township was transformed into Xinxing town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in new towns was 42760. In 2019, Xinxing town has 16 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in Hezuo village.

In 2018, Xinxing town had 11 industrial enterprises and 124 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1942, Xinxing was named after the establishment of a new democratic regime.

In 1942, Xinxing village was established. In 1946, Xinxing district was reformed.

In 1950, Xinxing district was renamed the Fifth District.

In May 1955, the Fifth District was renamed new district.

In August 1956, Xinxing district was transformed into Xinxing township.

In September 1958, Xinxing township was transformed into Xinxing commune.

In February 1984, Xinxing commune was transformed into Xinxing township.

In March 2007, Qianxiang township was merged into Xinxing township.

In 2011, Xinxing township was transformed into Xinxing town.

In 2019, Xinxing town governs 16 administrative villages: Aimin village, Pingsheng village, Taiping Village, Jianmin village, Zhijia village, Xingfu village, northwest village, chuangzhuang village, ainiang village, Qianqian village, Dongrong village, Dongnan village, Renyi village, Anle village, dongheping village and Xinhe village. The town people's government is stationed in Hezuo village.
