Shuangta town is a town level administrative unit under the jurisdiction of Guazhou County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province. It is a new immigrant town in the form of integrated system, which is constructed and transferred by local government. The project was started in early 2002, completed in December 2005 and transferred to Guazhou County for management. In March 2006, the Party committee and government of Shuangta Township were formally established, and in June 2018, the township was changed from township to town. It has jurisdiction over 5 administrative villages and 49 villager groups in Jinhe, Gucheng, Fuquan, yueyadun and Xinhua Hui villages, with a total cultivated land area of 45000 Mu and a per capita cultivated land of 3.5 mu. It has resettled 2762 households and 12988 people in Yongjing, Lixian and Hezheng counties.

Shuangta town is located in the east of Guazhou County, with Changsha ridge in the south, bulongji Township in the north, qidaogou branch of agricultural reclamation company in the East and Shuangta reservoir in the West. It is 35 km long from east to west and 17 km wide from north to south, with a total administrative area of 211.59 square kilometers.
