Xinzhai town

Xinzhai Town, subordinate to Weiyuan County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Weiyuan County, with Beizhai town in the East, Qingyuan town in the south, Qingping Township in the southwest, Lintao County in the northwest and North, Qinqi Township in the northeast, covering an administrative area of 160.39 square kilometers.

By the end of 2018, 20745 people had registered residence in new town. As of June 2020, 19 villages were under the jurisdiction of the new town.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xinzhai town was 7.23 million yuan, an increase of 16% over the previous year. At the end of the year, there was a rural credit cooperative and financial institutions set up offices. History of construction

Before September 1949, it belonged to Qingping township.

After October 1949, Xinzhai township was established.

In August 1955, Xinzhai township was directly under the jurisdiction of the county.

In September 1958, it belonged to Xinzhai management area of Qingping commune. In December of the same year, Weiyuan County was abolished and assigned to Longxi County.

In December 1962, Weiyuan County was restored and Xinzhai commune was established.

In July 1983, Xinzhai township was changed.

In August 2004, Xinzhai Township and Lijiawan Township merged into Xinzhai town.
