Sun Zhuang Xiang

Sunzhuang township is located 20 kilometers southwest of Qinghe County, with baying Township in the northeast, Xinji Township in the East, Linxi County in the south, Weixian County in the southwest and sunwa Township in the northwest. It has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages (16 natural villages). There are 2537 households with 10725 people, including 167 non-agricultural people.

Historical evolution

The township was established in 1953, belonged to baying commune in 1958, Sunzhuang commune in 1961 and changed to township in 1984.

geographical environment

The terrain is high in the West and low in the East. There are four branch canals of Zhongshou and five branch canals of Fengshou passing through the territory. It covers an area of 20.5 square kilometers, with 24961 mu of cultivated land, including 17017 mu of irrigated land.

Economic overview

Wheat, corn, millet, sorghum, etc. Before 1949, the grain yield per mu was about 50 kg, and in 1989 it reached 393 kg. Township run enterprises have flour processing plants, repair stations, agricultural machinery stations. There are 1 middle school, 15 primary schools, 1 health center, 14 village medical stations and 1 nursing home. The roads between villages are horizontal and vertical, and the villages are connected.
