Chengguan Street
Chengguan Street belongs to Liquan County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in Liquan county. It borders on xizhangbao town and Dianzhang street in Xingping City in the East, Shide town in the south, Lingyuan town in Qianxian County in the west, Zhao town and Shitan town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 14.85 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 12.49 km, with a total area of 174.84 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Chengguan Street has jurisdiction over 18 communities and 42 administrative villages. In 2011, the permanent resident population of Chengguan Street was 134285, the total agricultural output value reached 745 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 1221 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 653 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Ming Hongwu two years (1369), the county moved to this day, so the name Chengguan town.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Chengguan town of the first district, Anle township of the Second District, Qingping Township and Daobei township of the third district (the first to the third).
On May 18, 1949, after the liberation of Liquan, Chengguan Town governed some new time villages in the first and second districts.
In 1956, one district (Chengguan) was abolished and Liquan commune was established, which governed the former Chengguan Town, peizhai Township and yaowangdong township.
In 1961, the system of Liquan county was restored, and the original nine communes were divided into 20 communes.
At the end of 1984, it was changed into Chengguan Town, peizhai Township, yaowangdong Township and Xinshi township.
In February 2002, peizhai township was abolished and merged into Chengguan town to set up peizhai office.
In April 2011, Xinshi Township and yaowangdong Township were merged into Chengguan town to set up Xinshi community and yaowangdong community.
On June 28, 2015, Shaanxi Province adjusted the administrative division of towns, abolished Chengguan town of Liquan County, and established Chengguan Street.
