Luowu Township
Luowu township is under the jurisdiction of Puge County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Luowu township was established in 1951, changed to luowu commune in 1973, and restored to luowu Township in 1984. Located in the northeast of the county, 40 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 27.04 square kilometers and has a population of 4735 (2017). It has jurisdiction over three village committees, namely Luomo, Shaba and huobo.
On January 12, 2021, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed that Liangshan Prefecture should adjust the administrative divisions of some towns in Puge county and other seven counties, abolish menggan Township, luowu Township and haliluo Township, and establish Xiluo town.

geographical environment
Luowu township is located in the northeast of Puge County, 40 kilometers southbound to the county seat. It is located in a low mountain area. It has a subtropical climate with four distinct seasons, large temperature difference between day and night, and less rainfall. The annual rainfall is 900 ml, the average temperature is 20 ℃, and the altitude is about 1800 meters. It extends to tekou Township in the East, Ermu village in Jile Township in the south, Xiluo River in the west, and the communication office of Xiluo district and xiaoxingchang District in the north. The township covers an area of 27.04 square kilometers.
Regional population
The total population is 4735 (2017). It has jurisdiction over three administrative villages, namely Shaba, Luomo and huobo, with a total of 18 villager groups and one neighborhood committee.
