Zicheng Town, subordinate to Zijin County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, is located in the middle of Zijin County, 65 kilometers away from Heyuan City, 223 kilometers away from Shenzhen City, 270 kilometers away from Guangzhou City, with a total area of 384.80 square kilometers. At the end of 2018, the total number of registered residence in purple town was 166404. As of June 2020, Zicheng town has 12 communities and 31 administrative villages.
Zicheng town is the seat of the CPC Zijin County Committee and Zijin County Government, the political, economic and cultural center of Zijin County, the provincial central town, the provincial civilized town, the provincial health town, and the provincial education town.
In 2017, Zicheng town achieved a GDP of 4.05 billion yuan, an increase of 9%; a total industrial output value of 3 billion yuan, a total agricultural output value of 423 million yuan, an increase of 11% and 4.5% respectively; a local general public budget revenue of 272.9 million yuan, an increase of 40.7%; a total tax revenue of 88.8521 million yuan, a fixed asset investment of 364 million yuan, an increase of 20%; and a per capita disposable income of 9989 yuan, an increase of 9%.

Before the merger
Zicheng Town, formerly known as Anmin Town, belongs to Guishan county.
In 1569, Yongan county was set up to govern the city.
In 1914, it was called Jincheng town.
After liberation, it was a town in the first district of Zijin County (Jincheng town).
In 1953, it was changed into Zicheng town.
From 1954 to 1963, the city was divided and combined with the city.
In 1964, it was divided into urban people's commune from Fucheng commune.
In the summer of 1980, it was called Zicheng town.
In the early days of liberation, together with towns and Wushi, it was the first district of Zijin County.

Zhongshan Park
Zhongshan Park is located in Zijin County, where cattle are grinding. In 1935, to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat Sen, Zijin County built Zhongshan Park on Zijin Mountain, which was moved to the current site in 1986. Zhongshan Park faces north from the south, facing the Xiangjiang River in autumn, facing the number one scholar peak from afar. Below the main gate of the park is the big square, from which you can climb the park and lay marble steps. The gate tower has the name of "Zhongshan Park" inscribed by Qu Wu, former chairman of the Central Committee of the national revolution. Liu Ersong memorial hall is built on the hillside, leisure square and 48 meter high TV tower are built on the top of the mountain, and rest Pavilion and stool are built in the park.
Zijin Temple
Zijin temple, formerly known as Tianhou palace and Niangniang Temple, is located on the west side of the intersection of Xinzi road and Jianguo Road (now haowanjia electric appliance city). Built at the end of Ming Dynasty, it has been more than 400 years. More than 100 years ago, Liu Kaixian and LAN Kaitao, from Rulin street, Zijin County, went to Huanglong Temple in Luofu Mountain to worship Qiu Chuanxiu, the old Taoist priest (also known as "Guangdong jilinggui") to practice Taoism. After their apprenticeship, they went to Hong Kong and other regions, Singapore, Australia and other countries to set up altars and teach disciples. In 1943, the master and apprentice returned to Zijin County to preside over Tianhou palace. In 1992, Tianhou palace was moved to the west of Zhongshan Park in Anliang District of Zicheng town and renamed Zijin temple.
Zijin temple covers an area of 24000 square meters and a construction area of 15000 square meters. It was built with more than 30 million yuan donated by Qingsong Temple of Hong Kong and all walks of life. It is modeled after the Queen's palace of Hong Kong with red walls and yellow tiles.
Zijin temple has three halls: front, middle and back. The front hall is "Dharma protection hall", in front of which a pair of stone lions from the original site are placed; the plaque of the gate is "Zijin Temple", and the couplets inlaid with stones on the left and right sides are "Ziqi Xiangguang Yangmiao, Jinshu Yuyu duzhongsheng"; in the middle of the Dharma protection hall, there is a statue of the king of Dharma protection; behind the hall, there are God of wealth hall, Dashui hall, merit corridor and release pool on the left and right sides. In front of the hall is a cast iron censer made by Li family in 1790. The gate pillars are linked as "the immortal capital of Zifu, with water and virtue supporting the heaven, and the sea and the country helping each other; Qionglou and Yuyu are called" empress "and" Sangyu and zudou ". In the middle of the temple, the walking and sitting statues of Chen, Lin and Li nanniang are worshipped. The back hall is the "Sanqing hall", tall and majestic. In the center of the hall, there are three statues of Yuanshi Tianzun, Lingbao Tianzun and moral Tianzun, with different expressions. The whole temple is tall and magnificent, antique, known as the first Taoist temple in eastern Guangdong.
