Xiaoban town

Xiaoban town is under the jurisdiction of Tianmen City. It is located in the middle of the city, on the South Bank of Tianmen, 8km away from Tianmen City. It is connected with Tianmen Industrial Park in the East and Tianmen high tech Industrial Park in the West. Hesha highway and Tianxian highway run through the East and West. It is the only way to Hanchuan and Wuhan in the East and Xiantao in the south. It has obvious traffic location advantages.

Xiaoban town has a land area of 63.63 square kilometers (in 2017) and a cultivated land area of 43075 mu. The town governs a community, 25 administrative villages, with a total population of 31583 (2017).

On November 20, 2020, it will be selected into the list of "the sixth national civilized villages and towns".

Historical evolution

In 1958, the red flag commune was set up, and later it was changed into a small board area. In 1987, it was composed of five villages, Daban, Luohu and Xiaoban town. In 1996, it covers an area of 81 square kilometers and has a population of 40000. It has jurisdiction over 25 administrative villages including Huangjin, Jinke, Yuzui, Luohuang, Xiaoban, Huqiao, jinjiawan, Jiangtai, Daban, Jinwang, Fangsi, Yaoqiao, Zhangling, Zhouyang, Chedun, Fanling, Zhongchang, xuwan, Wangchang, Luohu, Wangyuan, Toutou, Aitai, duanling and Xiaoban, as well as the May 7th neighborhood committee. In 2004, the town government was stationed in xiaobangang, with a population of 43592 and an area of 63.6 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over a neighborhood committee in Xiaoban and 25 administrative villages in Chedun, Fanling, Zhongchang, duanling, xuwan, Wangchang, Luohu, Wanghuan, dock, Aitai, Huqiao, yaowan, Jiangtai, Daban, Jinwang, Fangsi, Yaoqiao, Zhangling, Zhouyang, Huangjin, Yuzui, Luohuang, Xiaoban, Jinke and xiaobangang.

economic development

In 2014, 35 industrial, agricultural and commercial projects were settled in the town, including 15 projects put into operation, 12 projects under construction, and 8 projects to be contracted; the annual fixed asset investment reached 1.2 billion yuan, and 9 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size; the output value of industries above Designated Size reached 600 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 23.5%; the national and local taxes and taxes reached 23.85 million yuan, doubling in one year, and the town economy continued to develop by leaps and bounds The exhibition is in good shape.

The planning area of the industrial community is 3.5 square kilometers, the infrastructure is increasingly perfect, and the power facilities, water supply and drainage facilities, gas supply facilities and communication facilities are all in place. The rudiments of the four major industries have basically taken shape. Village and town construction

Urban construction infrastructure has been gradually improved. The township road street, gangfa street and Wuqi avenue have been upgraded and reconstructed, forming a "three horizontal and three vertical" road grid. New large board and small board farmers' markets have been built, small board demonstration street and Luohuang demonstration street have been built to a high standard, suburban branch of industrial and commercial bureau, National Taxation Branch and small board central kindergarten have been built, and the urban functions are complete. New rural construction is in full swing. Focus on the construction of Xiaoban new village and Jiangtai new countryside. We have basically achieved the goals of networking urban roads, perfecting infrastructure, housing residential quarters and comfortable service facilities.

social undertakings

All round progress has been made in social undertakings. In 2014, a total of 14.8 km of village road was built in 8 villages, including Zhouyang, modqiao and Huangjin, and 18 km of village road was built in the whole town, which realized village to village connection. The safe drinking water project in 25 villages has covered 23 villages. We have renovated 40 rural poor people's dilapidated houses, provided basic living allowances for 866 rural residents, 135 rural residents and 249 urban residents, and provided for 158 "Five Guarantees" objects. In the whole year, 35000 yuan was paid for the relief of spring famine, 331 people were rescued for serious diseases, and the relief fund was more than 500000 yuan.
