Oitak town
Aoyitak Town, a town under the jurisdiction of aktao County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of aktao county. It is adjacent to Baren Township in the East, Bulunkou Township in the south, Bulunkou Township in the West and bostantilike Township in Wuqia County in the north, with an administrative area of 1537 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in town was 5140. As of October 2019, oytak town has four administrative villages.
In 2011, the gross output value of oitak town was 18.251 million yuan, an increase of 4.141 million yuan over 2010. The village collective economic income is 160000 yuan. In 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in oitak town.
History of construction
In 1950, it was aoyitak Township, belonging to tashmirik district.
In 1954, it was assigned to brunkou district.
In September 1958, the Oytag commune was rebuilt.
In February 1984, it was transformed into oitak district.
In September 1985, the district was removed and the town was established.
