Halbach Township
Halbak Township, belonging to Luntai County, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Luntai County, bordering qunbak town in the East, Caohu Township in the south, Kuqa County in the West and aksalai Township in the north, with a total area of 155.18 square kilometers.
In 1908, the area of halbak township was divided into dayakui and xiaoyakui villages; in 1984, halbak commune was changed into halbak township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in hahbuck township was 11885. In 2019, halbak village governs nine administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in wuxiaketierek village. The grain crops in halbak township are mainly wheat and corn, and the industries are mainly processing and construction.
In September 2018, halbak township was selected into the demonstration construction list of strong agricultural towns.
History of construction
In the 34th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1908), it was called Da Ya Hui and Xiao Ya Hui Zhuang.
In 1942, it was divided into three villages: Da Ya Kui, Xiao Ya Kui and kaladun.
In 1950, it was divided into three townships of Daya, Xiaoya and kaladun in Chengguan District.
In 1958, it merged with Dadaonan township to form halbak commune.
In 1962, Halbach commune established Dadaonan commune.
In 1984, Halbach commune was transformed into Halbach township.

In 2019, halbak village governs nine administrative villages: yuqituograk Village (animal husbandry Village), kukese Gezi village, wuxiake tierek village, haldong village, bagji gedai village, kasibixi village, halbak village, kuoshtogman village and kutaikebulak village. The people's government is stationed in wuxiake tierek village.
