Dingdian town is located on the reed river, 10km north of Yangcheng County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province. It borders Runcheng town and Jiafeng town of Qinshui County in the East, Fengcheng town and Dongcheng Office of the county in the south, Xihe township of the county in the west, Sitou township of the county and Duanshi town of Qinshui County in the north, with a total area of 61.49km2.
