Biliuhe town

Biliuhe Town, belonging to Qitai County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Qitai County, adjacent to banjiegou town in the East, Turpan City in Turpan area in the south, jibuku town in the west, and 108 community of Qitai central Tuancheng community of the Sixth Agricultural Division in the north. The area is 255 square kilometers. In 2018, 11045 people registered residence.

In December 1975, tangfangmen brigade and Dongzigou brigade merged to form Biliuhe commune. In 1984, the township system was restored. In October 2019, Biliuhe town governs six administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 18 industrial enterprises in Biliuhe town.

Biliuhe town is located in the south of Qitai County, adjacent to banjiegou town in the East, Turpan City in Turpan area in the south, jibuku town in the west, and tuanchang 108 community in Qitai center of the Sixth Agricultural Division in the north. The area is 255 square kilometers.

topographic features

Biliuhe town is mountainous and hilly in the South and plain in the north. The terrain is high in the South and low in the north. The highest point is baishitouzhang, with an altitude of 3000 meters; the lowest point is donggobi village, with an altitude of 700 meters.

Biliuhe town has a temperate continental climate, characterized by cold winter and hot summer, large annual temperature difference and less precipitation. The annual average temperature is 5 ℃, the average temperature in January is - 19.5 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 35 ℃; the average temperature in July is 21 ℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 34.2 ℃. The annual average frost free period is 140 days, the longest is 150 days, and the shortest is 131 days. The annual average rainfall is 220mm, the extreme annual maximum rainfall is 256mm, and the extreme annual minimum rainfall is 87mm.

Wheat and corn are the main food crops, producing 50000 tons of grain, 4467.5kg per capita, including 15000 tons of wheat and 35000 tons of corn. The main economic crops are safflower, which covers an area of 7005 Mu and yields 51.8 tons. Animal husbandry is mainly to raise pigs, sheep and poultry, with 103000 pigs and 5000 at the end of the year; 160000 sheep and 67000 at the end of the year; and 970000 poultry.
