Liuhuanggou Town, subordinate to Changji City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of the city, bounded by Toutunhe District of Urumqi in the East, Miaoergou in the south, Ashli Kazakh nationality township in the West and Sangong town in the north. The area is 740 square kilometers. In 2018, 961 people registered residence.
In 1959, it was a mining area. In 1984, Liuhuanggou office was set up. In 1994, Liuhuanggou town was built. In October 2019, Liuhuanggou town governs one administrative village and one community.
