Xihang street is a street in Yushu City, Qinghai Province. It was established in May 2014 (YZH [2014] No.1).
Evolution of organizational system
Jiegu city was established in 1951, the first Xiaoge (District) in 1952, Jiegu town in 1956, Hongqi commune in 1958, Jiegu Township in 1963, Jiegu town in 1965, Jiegu commune in 1972 and Jiegu town in 1984.
In 2013, the provincial government (qingzhenghan [2013] No. 146) approved the cancellation of Jiegu town.
In 2014, Jiegu street, Xihang street, zhaxike street and Xinzhai street were established (yuzhenghan [2014] No.1).
administrative division
Yushu Xihang Street office was established in March 2014. It has jurisdiction over three communities and two administrative villages, Xihang community, Shengli Road community, Zhaxi Datong community, changu village and Zhaxi Datong village.
geographical environment
The street office is located in the south of Yushu City, to the south of Zhaqu River, to the west of Baqu River, along zhaxike road to the west of dengde Longqing, and to the south of national highway 214 through jiajiniang. It is composed of Xihang neighborhood committee, Zhaxi Datong South neighborhood committee and Zhaxi Datong North neighborhood committee established during Yushu reconstruction. The district covers an area of 228.8 hectares, with the boundary of Baqu River in the East, wengcongbangna in the west, changu in the South and the intersection of zaqu River and Baqu River in the north.
Population nationality
There are 4892 households and 19335 permanent residents. Among them, 3642 registered residence households, 1250 non local registered residence, and 15373 floating population in the jurisdiction.

There are three communities: Xihang community, Shengli Road community and Zhaxi Datong community.
1. Xihang community covers an area of 81.3 hectares, with 1752 households and 6882 residents. The boundaries of the four reaches are: Baqu River in the East, wengcongbangna in the west, changu in the South and the intersection of Zhaqu River in the north. There are 12 units in the jurisdiction, including the Municipal People's Armed Forces Department, the armed police detachment, the Propaganda Department of the municipal Party committee, and the municipal disabled persons' Federation.
2. Shengli Road community area of 89.7 hectares, 1387 households, 5441 people, four boundaries: East to Shengli Road, West to Xihang Gayang, South to Xihang water circuit, north to mother road. There are 16 units in the jurisdiction, including the municipal Party committee, the municipal government, the Municipal People's Congress and the municipal CPPCC.
3. Datong community in Zhaxi covers an area of 57.8 hectares, with 1753 households and 7012 people. The four boundaries are Shengli Road in the East, Weng Cong Bang Na in the west, Mother Road in the South and Zhaqu River in the north. There are Yushu people's Hospital, tobacco company, forestry station, nursing home and other 9 units in the area.
4. Changu village is located about 11 kilometers south of Jiegu Town, adjacent to changu temple in the East and changu hydropower station in the south. National Highway 214 passes through the village, with an average altitude of 3700 meters. It is a semi agricultural and semi pastoral administrative village, with 733.3 mu of arable land and 52348 mu of grassland. It has 4153 kinds of livestock. There are four agricultural cooperatives in the village, 228 households, 725 people, 24 party members and 5 women party members. In 2008 and 2011, a total of 2 secretaries of the Party branch, 2 directors of the village committee and 4 members of the group were adjusted. The average age was reduced by 7 years, the education level was significantly improved, and village level grass-roots organizations such as workers, young women, militia, security and mediation were sound. At the end of 2011, the per capita income of the village was 3492 yuan. In the "4.14" earthquake, a total of 65 people were killed and 127 injured in the village. All houses collapsed and people's lives and property lost a lot.
5. Located in the urban area of Yushu City, Zhaxi Datong village is a typical urban village with "more people and less land". There are 4 agricultural and animal husbandry production cooperatives in the village, 262 households, 652 people, 32 party members and 4 probationary party members, including 6 women party members. The existing cultivated land area is 297 Mu and grassland area is 54125 mu. The fixed assets of the village reached 44 million yuan, the annual profit reached 1.23 million yuan, and the per capita annual increase was 1886.5 yuan.
