Nanlu Office (now under the jurisdiction of Shihu town) is located at the junction of Guanxian, Xiangxian and Lianxian counties. History and origin

In the early Qing Dynasty, there was a local rich man who wrote a couplet according to the geographical characteristics: nanlugou, beilugou, nanlugou, nanlugou and nanlugou. He collected the couplet with ten Liang silver. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, there was a poor scholar who was too poor to eat. One day, he got up early in the morning and went to dongkan to work. Because he got up too early, when he got to dongkan, the two pawnbrokers didn't open, so he had to hang out in the street. Inadvertently, he happened to think of the couplet mentioned above. When inspiration came, the couplet was right. At this time, without waiting for the pawnshop to open, he went back to the rich man's house and asked for ten liang of silver. The rich man has long passed away, and his descendants say that no one has continued in the past 100 years, so let him talk about it first. The poor scholar read aloud: "East pawnshop, West pawnshop, East pawnshop, East pawnshop, East pawnshop, East pawnshop, East pawnshop, East pawnshop, West pawnshop, East pawnshop, East pawnshop, West pawnshop, East pawnshop, West pawnshop, East pawnshop, West pawnshop, West pawnshop, West pawnsh. There was a big ditch in the north and south, called Nanlu ditch in the South and Beilu ditch in the north. Later, nanlugou was refined into nanlugou and beilugou into bailugou. There is also a folk legend about the South and North Lugou.

Culture and characters

Speaking of Xu Wei, it is the hometown of Gu Zhutong, a senior general of the Kuomintang. Gu Zhutong was the commander-in-chief of the army, chief of staff of the Ministry of national defense, and acting Minister of the Ministry of national defense of the Kuomintang. All his military life, he wrote an important page in the history of the Republic of China. On December 25, 1948, the CPC Central Committee announced that Gu ranked sixth among the 43 Kuomintang war criminals. His name is only after Chiang Kai Shek, Li Zongren, Chen Cheng, Bai Chongxi and he Yingqin, which shows his position among the important members of the Kuomintang.
