Yaltang Township

Yaltang Township, belonging to Bama County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southeast of Bama County, with an Dou Township in the East, Dengta Township in the south, Zhiqin Township in the West and sailaitang town in the north. It is 31 kilometers away from Bama County, with a total area of 364.95 square kilometers.

In 1958, there were six districts (yaltang District). In 1984, it was renamed yaltang township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the altong township was 2604. In 2019, yaltang village governs wangrou village, guomang village and rihedong village.

Agriculture in yaltang township is mainly animal husbandry; crops are mainly highland barley, wheat, peas, rapeseed and potatoes; animal husbandry is mainly raising sheep, cattle and horses.

The building has four floors above the ground, with a total height of 12.25 meters. The Diaolou is 19.05m in total length and 20.4m in total width. The structural form is block stone masonry structure, with stone as wall and log as column. The first and second floors are loess ground, and the third and fourth floors are solid wood floor. The first floor of the Diaolou is mainly for horse tying and prison, the second floor is mainly for storing food, servants and soldiers, the third floor is the living circle of the master, and the fourth floor is the sun drying field and scripture hall.
