Heping Township

Heping township is located in the west of Yunxiao County, 7 kilometers away from the county. It has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages. Yun (Xiao) Shui (Jing Ping) highway transit. Xixi and Nanxi converge and flow into Zhangjiang River.

In 2017, the administrative area was 8244 hectares, with 12736 permanent residents.

On June 29, 2020, it will be included in the list of provincial rural governance demonstration towns.

Heping township (farm) is located in the northwest of Yunxiao, 7 kilometers away from the county. In the East, Jiangjun mountain is adjacent to PuMei Town, in the west, Wushan mountain is adjacent to Gongtian, Hongxing Township, Zhao'an County, in the south, Changshan Economic Development Zone, in the north, Xiahe township of the county, and the provincial highway Yuntai line runs through the whole area, connecting Yunxiao and Zhao'an counties. Historical evolution

Heping township has a glorious revolutionary history. After liberation, Heping was subordinate to the Fourth District of Yunxiao County; in 1957, Heping and Anji communes were established; in 1958, state-owned Heping farm was established; in 1984, Heping township was set up on the basis of the original farm system, with 13 administrative villages under its jurisdiction; up to now, township and farm coexist, forming a dual system of unified leadership by Township Party committee and separate economic accounting.
