GameI township is located in Suo County, Nagqu Prefecture, Tibet, in the north central part of the county, adjacent to Baqing county. The resident population is 5632 (2017). Township was established in 1966 and commune was established in 1971. In 1988, the original gameI Township, suodui Township and Gaxiu Township were merged into gameI township. In 1996, with a population of 35000, it has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages of Gongga, Gongmi, gongsuo, Dongmu, dashaka, benrika, reqingliang, Gutang, kechada, meilongliang, nigotang, bengongtang, Soga, duojian, gongdatang and longmugu. The township government is stationed in gamixiong (i.e., duotangxiong, longmokou, meilongneng, dunmaonang, suqiongtang, gongdatang, dasaka, xiuseka and Fanmu) Re Ka, Po Ka, Ben Gong Tang, ni duo Tang, Wan Ru duo, Na Da duo, Re Qing Neng, Qiu Ming Ka, Ke Di Da, Long Tong Ka (18 villages). Geography
GameI township is located in the north of Suo county and the east of the county. The township government is about 75 km away from the county (about 115 km in winter). the township now governs 18 villages. The total population is 5632 (2017). The total area of cultivated land is 196.68 hectares. The total number of livestock on hand is 20867. there are a small amount of forest resources and a certain amount of wildlife resources in the township. in recent years, with the continuous emergence and gradual increase of resource disputes, the task of investigating contradictions and mediating disputes in the township is relatively heavy.
