Qushian town
Qushi'an Town, belonging to Xinghai County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, faces BAGOU township of Tongde County across the Yellow River in the East, Zhongtie Township and longzang Township in the south, Wenquan Township in the West and Tangnaihai Township in the north. In 2018, the area of the town of Qu an an area was 371.19 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 6524.
In October 2019, qushi'an town governs one community and five administrative villages.

Historical evolution
At the beginning of liberation, part of qushi'an town belonged to qieji District of Gonghe County.
In 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of Wulong District of Xinghai County.
In 1966, the animal husbandry brigade and production team of qushi'an, longzang and Zhongtie townships invested in the development of Dongxi rice beach as a ration production base. Because the herdsmen could not farm, some farmers moved in from inside and outside the province for farming. Later, due to abandoning grain production, the land and population of longzang and Zhongtie Township were all merged into qushi'an township.
In 1984, the commune was changed into a township and the brigade into a village.

Qushi'an town is located at the confluence of qushi'an River and the Yellow River. Its terrain is high in the West and low in the East. In the west, there are mountains and hills. Xiagang mountain is 4400 meters above sea level, natangtan is 3300 meters above sea level, and the valley is 2740-3032 meters above sea level.
