Triangle town

Triangle Town, belonging to Haiyan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the northeast of Qinghai Lake and the southwest foot of Datong mountains in Qilian Mountains. It is adjacent to Jintan Township in the East, Huangyuan County of Xining City in the south, Qinghai Lake Township in the West and halejing Township in the north. The area is 298.24 square kilometers. In 2018, 9546 people registered residence.

In 1949, Sansheng township was established. In 1958, it was incorporated into Haibin commune. In 1961, Yintan commune was established. In 1966, it was changed into triangle city commune. In 1978, it was renamed Yintan commune. In 1983, it was changed into Yintan township. In 2001, the township was withdrawn and the triangle town was established. As of October 2019, triangle town has three communities and five administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Triangle town.

It is adjacent to Jintan Township in the East, Huangyuan County of Xining City in the south, Qinghai Lake Township in the West and halejing Township in the north. The terrain of Triangle town is alpine landform. The highest point of zalegen mountain is 4583 meters above sea level; the lowest point is Haiyan County, 3020 meters above sea level; the lowest point is shuixia Valley, only 2726 meters above sea level.

Highland barley and oats are the main food crops, producing 109.9 tons of grain, including 680.8 tons of highland barley and 193.8 tons of oats. The main economic crops are rape, with an output of 225.6 tons. Animal husbandry mainly focuses on raising cattle and sheep. At the end of the year, there are 49551 livestock in stock, 306.43 million of all kinds of piglets and 253.43 million of live ones. The total increase of all kinds of livestock is 306.43 million.
