Sangke town
Sangke Town, belonging to Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Xiahe County, adjacent to Labrang town in the East, Zhayou Township and Labrang town in the southeast, amuquhu Township and yaliji Township in the southwest, duowa Township in Tongren County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province in the west, and Ganjia Township in the north. The area is 1250.71 square kilometers. In 2018, 7755 people registered residence.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Labrang set up an administrative bureau, which was under the jurisdiction of thirteen villages. On December 1, 1944, Daxia town officially changed its name to model town. The Township Office was stationed in Sangke, and it was renamed Ziyou township. After September 22, 1949, Sangke was divided into three counties. In March 2017, the township was set up. In June 2020, Sangke town governs six administrative villages.
