Pinggou Township

Pinggou Township, belonging to Yongjing County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Yongjing County, at the junction of Gansu and Qinghai provinces. It is adjacent to Xihe town and Yanguoxia town in the East, Hongquan town and Taiji town in the south, Xinsi town in the West and Minhe Hui Tu Autonomous County in Qinghai Province in the north. The area is 191.8 square kilometers. In 2018, 4282 people registered residence.

From December 1949 to 1957, it successively belonged to Chuancheng District, the eighth district and Xihe District. In 1958, it belonged to Xihe commune. In 1961, Pinggou commune was established. In 1965, he became kanggou commune. In 1969, Pinggou commune was restored. In 1983, it was changed to Pinggou township. In 2005, two townships of Wangping and duanling were abolished, and three villages of Luoshan, Wangping and Yutai in former Wangping Township and two villages of Qishan and Beishan in former duanling Township were put under the jurisdiction of Pinggou township. In October 2019, Pinggou village governs four administrative villages.

In 2018, Pinggou township has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
