Xuding Township

Xuding Township, belonging to Yongjing County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province, is located in the east of Yongjing County, adjacent to Guanshan Township in the East, Lintao County of Dingxi City in the south, chenjing town and santiaoxian Township in the west, and Liuquan township of Xigu District of Lanzhou City in the north. The area is 56.7 square kilometers. In 2018, 4006 people registered residence.

From 1929 to 1949, it belonged to fengle Township, Gaolan county. From December 1949 to February 1958, it belonged to Xigu District of Gaolan county. In March 1958, it belonged to chenjing commune after being transferred to Yongjing county. In 1961, Xuding commune was established. In November 1980, five production brigades, including hongxianzi and Qinghe, were put under the jurisdiction of the newly established santiaoxian commune. In 1983, it was changed to Xuding township. In October 2019, Xuding Township governs five administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 23 industrial enterprises in Xuding Township and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

From 1929 to 1949, it belonged to fengle Township, Gaolan county.

From December 1949 to February 1958, it belonged to Xigu District of Gaolan county.

In March 1958, it belonged to chenjing commune after being transferred to Yongjing county.

In 1961, Xuding commune was established.

In November 1980, five production brigades, including hongxianzi and Qinghe, were put under the jurisdiction of the newly established santiaoxian commune.

In 1983, it was changed to Xuding township.
