Badan Township, belonging to Kangle County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Kangle County, bordering on the attached towns in the East, Shangwan in the south, Minglu in the West and Suji town in the north. In 1950, it belonged to Badan Township, the second district. Badan township was established in October 1952. On November 21 of the same year, Kangle county was abolished and merged into Hezheng county. On October 27, 1955, Badan and luzigou were merged into Badan township.
