Dahedian Town, belonging to Hui County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Hui County, adjacent to Yuguan Township in the southeast, Lueyang County in Shaanxi Province in the south, Cheng County in the west, Shuiyang town and Lichuan town in the north, and Jialing town in the northeast. It is 21 kilometers away from Hui County, with a total area of 150.4 square kilometers.

In the Wei, Jin and southern and Northern Dynasties, it was under the jurisdiction of changju County, Pantou County; in 2016, it was changed from dahedian township to dahedian town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Dahe Town was 9358. As of June 2020, dahedian town has one community and 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Dahe village.

Grain crops in dahedian town are mainly wheat and corn; animal husbandry is mainly raising cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry. Dahedian town is an iron ore mining and processing industrial base. In 2018, dahedian town had one industrial enterprise and 23 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the Wei, Jin, and southern and Northern Dynasties, it was under the jurisdiction of changju county.

In Sui and Tang Dynasties, it was under the jurisdiction of changju County, shunzheng County of Xingzhou.

In song and Yuan Dynasties, it was under the jurisdiction of changju County in Xingzhou and mianzhou.

After 1949, dahedian township was established.

In 1958, it became dahedian commune.

In 1983, dahedian commune was changed into dahedian Township, and its organ was located in Dahe village.

In 2016, dahedian township was changed from township to town.
