Leida town
Leida town belongs to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province. It is located in the shallow mountain area in the south central part of Jingning County. It is adjacent to zhaodun township of Zhuanglang County in the East, Lidian town in the south, Shuangxian Township in the West and Weirong town in the north. The total area of the administrative area is 98 square kilometers, and as of the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Lei Da Town is 20015.
Leida town is named after leidaliang, the main mountain ridge in the territory. The territory originally belonged to Jingning and Zhuanglang counties. In 1942, it belonged to three townships of Xinmin, Weirong and Zhiping in Jingning County. In June 1950, the eighth sector (radar) was established. In December 2003, Houliang township was incorporated. In July 2016, the work of removing villages and changing towns was completed. As of June 2020, Leida town has 18 administrative villages.

Leidaliang extends from the southwest to the north and runs through the countryside. It is the largest mountain ridge in the area.
