Zengsheng Town, belonging to Fuyu City, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the southwest of Fuyu City, 75 kilometers east of Fuyu city and 55 kilometers west of Songyuan City; it is adjacent to Xinzhan Township in the East, Nongan County across the river in the south, Shili Township in the west, halamaudu town in the former golros Mongolian Autonomous County in the southwest, and sanjingzi town in the north. The total administrative area is 345 square kilometers.

In 1986, Zengsheng township was changed to Zengsheng town. By the end of 2018, the population of the town had 37042 registered residence. As of June 2020, Zengsheng town has 17 administrative villages.

In 2011, the total revenue of Zengsheng town was 6.52 million yuan, an increase of 11.2% over the previous year.

History of construction

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the four boroughs; in 1938, Zengsheng village was set up; in 1946, it belonged to the four districts.

In March 1956, it belonged to Zengsheng township of sanjingzi.

In 1958, the township changed into a commune.

In 1983, the commune was transformed into a township.

In 1986, the township was transformed into a town.

Shazhou Forest Park

Shazhou Forest Park is located in Zengsheng state forest farm, Zengsheng Town, Fuyu city. There are more than 3000 hectares of woodland and 1428 hectares of planned area, including 169 hectares of water surface area. The geological structure of the park belongs to the eastern uplift of Songliao subsidence basin in the second subsidence zone of eastern Asia. In the forest park area, the terrain is ridge like undulation, the altitude is about 140-250m, the relative height difference is between 15-110m, and the terrain is alluvial dry plain. The soil types are meadow soil and sandy soil. The second Songhua River flows through the south of Shazhou Forest Park and flows from southeast to northwest. The flow in the park is about 5250 meters, the width of the channel is about 750-950 meters, the average annual runoff is 40.95 billion cubic meters per year, and the flood season is from June to September.
