Dingjiagou Town, belonging to Huining County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Huining County, at the junction of Zhongchuan Township in the East, Anding District and Tongwei County in Dingxi City in the south, Shiquan Township in Anding District in the West and Huishi town in the north, with a total administrative area of 164.7 square kilometers.
Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhongying township; in 1983, it was changed to Dingjiagou township. In 2016, Dingjiagou township was built from township. Before 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhongying township.
In June 1958, it was dinggou commune; in October of the same year, it was divided into Xiaoling commune and Macha commune.
In April 1965, Dingjiagou commune was restored.
In 1983, it was changed to Dingjiagou township.
In 2016, Dingjiagou township was built from township.
