Linhe town belongs to Langao County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the middle of the county, adjacent to Pingli County and Hanbin District in the East, Yihe town in the south, Langao County in the West and Chengguan town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 24.8 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 4.2 km, with a total area of 107.26 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, Linhe town has seven administrative villages. By the end of 2018, the population of Lin He town registered residence was 8758. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Linhe town reached 83.38 million yuan, and the total industrial output value reached 93.75 million yuan.
Historical evolution
It got its name because the two sides of the river were covered with mat grass.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was the protection of Linhekou, caojiaoya and cattle ranch in Dongxiang.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it became linhebao in the central region.
In 1941, it was the fourth Bao of Shangzhong town and the second Bao of Xiaoxiang township.
In December 1949, it was subordinate to Chengguan District.
In 1952, it belonged to Linhe and fangliu townships in zhuanping district.
In 1958, it was changed into a commune.
In 1984, it became the township of zhuanping district.
In December 1996, Linhe Township and fangliu Township under the jurisdiction of zhuanping district were merged to form Linhe township.
In July 2011, it was renamed Linhe town.
