Manping town

Manping town is subordinate to Haidong citizen and Hui and Tu Autonomous County of Qinghai Province. It is connected with Qianhe Township in the East, Gangou Township in the south, Gushan town in the west, Maying town and Qianhe Township in the north, with an administrative area of 56.8 square kilometers.

In 1949, it was Taihe Township; in 1950, it was renamed pingman township; in 1958, it was founded in the Ping man commune; in 1984, the government and society were divided into 2018 parts: Renping township; in 1985, it was renamed the township of the Hui nationality in the whole town; at the end of the year, it abolished the national title and changed it to the full Ping village; in March 19, 2001, it abolished the town of Pingping and set up the town of man Ping; at the end of the year, there were 19553 registered residence population in man Ping town; as at the end of the year, the town was full. History of construction

In 1949, for Taihe Township.

In 1958, Manping commune was established.

In 1984, the government and society were separated and renamed Manping township.

In 1985, it was renamed Manping Hui Township. At the end of the year, it was renamed Manping Township instead of national appellation.

On March 19, 2001, Manping township was abolished and Manping town was established.

As of October 2019, Manping town has one community and 15 administrative villages: Manping town community, Manping village, Jichang village, Qingquan village, Dazhuang village, Shanzhuang village, Hekou village, Chenjia village, duoerbu village, yanglongping village, shalapo village, Dongwan village, datan village, Langtang village, Xinjian village and aogou village.

Manping town is connected with Qianhe Township in the East, Gangou Township in the south, Gushan town in the west, Maying town and Qianhe Township in the north. It is 62 kilometers away from the county seat, with an administrative area of 56.8 square kilometers.

Most of Manping town is mountainous area, the terrain is slightly higher in the West and lower in the East, higher in the north and lower in the south. The highest point is kanggeda peak, with an altitude of 3320 meters; the lowest point is Jichang bridge, with an altitude of 2275 meters.
