Shuang'an town belongs to Ziyang County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the north of Ziyang County, it borders niuti town of Hanbin District in the East, Haoping town in the south, Hanshui River and huangu town in the west, and Hanwang town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 29 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 8.2 kilometers, with a total area of 103.9 square kilometers.

Before 1996, Shuangan (commune) was originally a township under the jurisdiction of Haoping district.
