Leping Town

Leping Town belongs to Sanshui District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. Located in the middle of Sanshui District, South and South China Sea, east to Huadu District, Guangzhou, with a total area of 198.5 square kilometers, with 3 residential committees, 14 village committees and 158 natural villages. Leping Town has developed transportation and obvious location advantages. Foshan first ring road (Expressway), Zhuhai Second Ring Road expressway, West Second Ring Road expressway, Yannan line of provincial road and Sanshui Avenue all pass through Leping, only 20 minutes' drive away from Guangzhou new airport and Foshan central urban area, and are seamlessly connected with Guangzhou, Foshan and other big cities. 2004 is an important year in the development history of Leping. The Sanshui District Party committee and the district government set up a district level Sanshui central science and Technology Industrial Zone in Leping. Leping Town is rich in tourism and cultural resources, among which Daqitou ancient village and Qiaoxin ecological park are the most representative.

The ancient buildings in Daqitou village are about 1km away from the central urban area of Leping and less than five minutes' drive away from the entrance and exit of the second ring road of Zhuhai. The building complex was built by Zheng Shaozhong, the commander of Guangdong Navy in Qing Dynasty. It was built in the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It is a representative village in central Guangdong in Qing Dynasty and has been well preserved. The building of the village is divided into three parts.
