Yidouquan township is located 10 kilometers northwest of Guangling County, Datong City, Shanxi Province. It borders Yuxian County and Jiaoshan Township in Hebei Province in the East, Yangyuan County in Hebei Province in the northwest, Huquan town and zuotun Township in the South and Liangzhuang Township in the West. It is a semi hilly and mountainous area. The township is 13 kilometers long from north to South and 9 kilometers wide from east to west, covering an area of 112.8 square kilometers.
