Mixinguan town is located 12 kilometers southeast of Tianzhen County, adjacent to NanGaoYa Township in the East, nanhebao Township in the west, jiajiatun Township in the South and Yuquan town in the north. It covers an area of 194.7 square kilometers, with 81212 mu of arable land and 8617 mu of irrigated land. The town has 25 administrative villages and 16212 permanent residents (in 2017), 29 grassroots party branches and 695 party members.

History and resources

It has a long history. It was inhabited as early as the Neolithic age. It was Yanling Town of Zhao state in the Warring States period, Yanling County in the Western Han Dynasty, Tiancheng army in the Tang Dynasty, Tiancheng County in the Liao Dynasty, and Tiancheng Wei and Zhenlu Wei in the Ming Dynasty. Tianzhenwei was established in 1646, and Tianzhen county was restored in 1725. Tianzhen county is rich in mineral resources, 39 kinds of mineral resources have been proved. Among them, lead, zinc, iron, graphite, marble, dolomite and peat all have certain mining value, especially the geothermal mineral water in maquanxiang village of guqianpu Town, with a total storage area of 10 square kilometers and a total reserve of 700 billion tons. Tianzhen county has many cultural relics and rich tourism resources. There are more than 130 scenic spots and historic sites, including Ciyun Temple, shaliangpo Han tombs, Heilong Temple Forest Farm scenic spot, Panshan Xianhua temple in early Ming Dynasty, Yuhuang Pavilion in Xinping, ancient Great Wall in Ming Dynasty, natural summer resort Shentou mountain and hot spring resort. In particular, in June last year, both Ciyun Temple and Han tombs were promoted to national key cultural relics protection units. The ancient frontier fortress culture, precious cultural relics, rich tourism resources and simple folk customs make it full of vigor and vitality.
