Dongru Township

Nitu County in Ali Prefecture of Tibet governs the township and three administrative villages, Dongru village, Songxi village and Aru village. Located in the north of Nitu County, 180 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Gaize County in the East and Xinjiang in the north. The average altitude of the township is 4300 meters. The total land area of the township is 36680.82 square kilometers, accounting for about 47% of the total land area of the county. The total area of grassland is 26090747.7 mu. The resident population was 1494 (2017).

evolution

The doma district was established in December 1960. In 1996, it had a population of about 10000 and governed three townships, including DOMA Township, dongdang Township and Songxi township. In 2001, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Duoma Township and Dongru Township were established. Dongru Township governs Dongyi, Donger, Dongsan, songxiyi, songxier, ARU, ah and other villages. In 2000, the permanent population of Dongru township was 1020 (Wupu).

The rivers include luma River, Donghe River, NASA River, zhanqin River, Chala River and zhanqiong river.
