Jindong Township

Lang County of Nyingchi city in Tibet governs townships and eight administrative villages, including Dongxiong village, Balong village, Bangma village, xirika village, Kangma village, Laiyi village, songmu village and Xiu village.

Located at 306 provincial road in the east of Lang County, Linzhi City, Tibet, 190 km away from Bayi Town, the seat of Linzhi municipal government, and 50 km away from Lang County, it is the only border township of Lang county.

There are famous ancient tombs in Lieshan.

Jindong District was established in June 1959 and changed to township in April 1988. In 1996, it covers an area of 400 square kilometers and has a population of 2000. In August 2019, more than 20 cadres and employees of Jindong Township donated 10271 yuan to Ma wengini's family. On August 23, 2019, Baima zhandui, a caring person in Kangma village, Jindong Township, donated a total of 8600 yuan to nine children of farmers and herdsmen who were newly admitted to the University.

Ancient tombs in Lieshan

Lieshan ancient tombs in Jindong Township, LANGXIAN County, 7 km away from 306 provincial road, is a place for historic sightseeing, history education and tomb exploration. It was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit in 2001.

Renpu holy water scenic spot

Renpu Shengshui scenic spot is located in xirika village, Jindong Township, 90 kilometers away from the county seat. There are "two towers and two lakes" at the peak of Renpu, and 108 small waterfalls on the way. It is said that every year on April 15 of the Tibetan calendar, the mountain will naturally make several loud noises like thunder. After the sound, the clear river water will turn milky white, lasting for about a month.

festival

Herder's Day is a traditional folk festival held in the village of Jindong Township, Lang County, Linzhi city. Since ancient times, on September 22 of the Tibetan calendar, the local people have held a grand herdsman's day like the new year, which lasts for two or three days. The reason why we choose this season and date is not only due to religion, but also due to the relationship between nature and production and life. Since 2004, Kangma village of Jindong township has held the "Renpu holy water culture tourism festival" every year on April 17 of the Tibetan calendar.
