Kentong township is located in the north of Chaya county. It is 79 km away from the county and about 30 km away from the highway. It is the only Township without highway in the county, covering an area of about 684 square kilometers. Duoxiong village is the resident village of the township government, with an average altitude of 4100 meters. It is a pure animal husbandry Township in high altitude areas. There are 7 administrative villages and 27 natural villages in the township, with a total of 349 households and 1910 people and 689 labor force.
