Kaiping township is a township under the jurisdiction of Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. It is located in the north of Beichuan County, with an area of 245 square kilometers and 12 administrative villages.

General situation

The total population of the township is 3785, including 2712 people from Qiang, Tibetan, Hui and other ethnic minorities. The rural area is mountainous landform, rich in forest resources, and the development of dry fruit forestry is rapid.
